The Maasai Mara game reserve has a healthy population of lions and during migration time it is easy to find these feline predators. What made this moment special is the elevated height of the lioness on the termite mound where she spent a few minutes posing for our vehicle before getting up, stretching, yawning and eventually, leaving ‘her throne’ meandering into the night.
