Lion eye - Portrait

Description

The intense eyes of a male lion have always fascinated me and I take any opportunity to get powerful close ups when they walk by the vehicle. This particular male walked by our car in Mara North Conservancy and even marked the back of the vehicle with his scent, much to the amusement of the guest on our game viewer. Getting the focus spot on is crucial in these moments and I am very happy with the result.
